Michael Jackson's Death
I would like to express my shock and sadness over the loss of the greatest pop legend of all time. As everyone should know by now, The King of Pop singer Michael Jackson has died at the age of 50 on June 25, 2009. The conversations down the street, in the office buildings, via email, twitter, text messages and phone calls were being filtered in a furry as the unbelievable news hit the airwaves.
It will take some time for people to come to terms with his death. Michael Jackson is best known for his No.1 selling album of 1982 "Thriller". Thriller sold a record 50 million copies worldwide.
From a very young age Michael joined the stage with his 4 other brothers to form the group The Jackson 5. They went on to create hits such as "ABC", "I'll Be There" and " i Want You Back".
I was a huge fan of Michael Jackson back in the 70's and 80's and still have his collection of records and buttons. He was a very attractive man back in the day.
I really love his character in the musical movie "The Wiz" which is an R&B version of the original "Wizard of Oz". Michael played a scarecrow in this movie and starred alongside Diana Ross, Lena Horne and Richard Pryor back in 1978.
